Veronica gave her life to Christ after her child was born, yet she closes her story with “God had His plan, He had our family’s story written far before any of us ever knew it.”
What does her comment reveal about God’s love for ALL of us?
Veronica gave her life to Christ after her child was born, yet she closes her story with “God had His plan, He had our family’s story written far before any of us ever knew it.”
What does her comment reveal about God’s love for ALL of us?
After giving birth, Veronica reached out to a local support group for help. Outside of the tangible resources that were provided, what were the benefits of seeking this help?
Is there a support group you could benefit from or give your services to? Consider reaching out and allowing God’s glory to work in you.
Up until the day she gave birth to her sweet baby girl, Veronica mentioned the hurt she felt caused by the constant judgment of those around her suggesting she was a “bad example”.
Have there been times in your life where you had those same negative thoughts when seeing a young, pregnant woman? How will you be different as a result of hearing Veronica’s story? How can we encourage those who choose life?
Who/what was guiding Veronica when she said, “her heart cried out”?
Reflect about a time in your life when your heart has cried out and what it inspired you to do.
Even those with the best intentions may not fully understand all the options available and the consequences associated. With courage, Veronica had to discern for herself the voice of truth.
Can you think of a time you may have wanted or needed to go against what you’d heard or had been advised to do? How did you find your truth?
Veronica’s story is one of COURAGE, RESILIANCE, and finding the VOICE OF TRUTH.
Consider ONE way her story spoke to you.
